The team at Electrum has developed a completely new approach to compressing hydrogen into ultra high pressures. Rather than working against the unique characteristics of the base element, we leverage them.
Our compression technology is modular in nature, having fewer moving parts to fail. Our compressor process is immune to embrittlement and has no loss of hydrogen in the compression process. Tests are outstanding!
MTBF is 90,000 hours, once in 10 years. The industry has maintenance every 2 yrs with 2 months +$ rework
We compress to 50,000 psi on a consistent, repeatable, cost effective basis.
Our process will scale to move cubic kilometers of gas.
We leverage underground storage to deliver highly compressed Hydrogen. The United States has numerous depleted natural gas wells and salt caverns to repurpose for underground Hydrogen storage. Solar & Wind lithium battery farms become a risky terrorist target. Underground storage is safer and less detectible.
